“I want to wear my pink leggings, leopard shirt, black bow, and black shoes,” my five-year-old declared as we stood in front of her closet. The contrast in decisiveness could not have been more apparent moments later in her sister’s closet. My then three-year-old daughter lay on her back on the carpet, rolling around and giggling as she chuckled, “I don’t know, Mommy. YOU pick it out.”
You might be one today who just needs to hit the floor, giggle, and tell your heavenly Father, “I don’t know, Daddy. YOU pick it out.” Whether it be a job decision, a ministry opportunity, or a family move, I’m cheering you on today as you surrender to His Lordship in all your decisions.
Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. –Proverbs 3:5-6
